'Safe and Well' Handbook
This handbook for schools and education authorities describes good practice in supporting and protecting children in school. It includes information on how to respond when a child goes missing from education. It sets out the requirement of each school to have a Child Protection Coordinator and gives practical guidance on how staff should respond to sensitive pupil support issues under the following headings:
