Children with Attachment Difficulties

Post Adoption Central Support (PACS) is a resources supported by Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling Councils. Their "Stop Wasting My Time!" is a booklet-form set of case studies which explains how attachment issues can affect the relationships, behaviour and achievement of children, including adopted children. It examines the characteristics of children with attachment issues and uses case studies to explore how schools and staff can help.

"Adoption, Attachment Issues and your School" is an information leaflet that succinctly outlines typical behaviours relating to attachment difficulties, why they occur and what you can do to help address these.

It can be downloaded free from the PACS web site, along with a range of up-to-date newsletters, via the link on the right of this page.

The "Stop Wasting My Time!" booklet can be ordered, for a £3.00 donation, from:
